What If My Rabbit Catches A Cold?

Viral infections will often clear on their own.  Bacterial infections can become severe and may need medical treatment.  Seek veterinary medical attention if your rabbits is having trouble breathing, has mucoid nasal discharge, or becomes very lethargic.  With rabbits it is always an emergency when they stop eating or defecating--if this ever happens seek veterinary medical attention immediately.
