Sounds like a mix breed to me but you do know that there are all black German Sheperds right? Could that possibly be it - it's impossible to tell without a picture but most likely it is a mix breed

You shouldn't choose a breed of dog based on appearances alone....
The Lapponian Herder looks similar to the GSD & Husky:

Don't think their eyes are blue though. Light eyes is actually considered a FAULT in many breeds of dog (but, they are exceptions like Huskies & Aussies).
