I just got to Leviticus 15:19-30 ... it says in there, "And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. ".... My issue here is... My bed is the couch... so everyone sits on it... should they rip off their cloths and bathe immediately after sitting there? I also wonder...does this make the dog unclean when he lays with me? ...ok and to the end of this it also states, " And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.".... Well I live in southern california and I haven't seen any turtles wandering around... I could check the pet stores...but the pigeons are really hard to catch... everytime I go to the pier and try to snag one it flys away... Any suggestions on how I should go about catching one?

You need to build a little hut in your back yard and go out there every month to stay away from everyone and everything.

Use a tampon or whatever is used.

Their is nothing unclean about you monthlies. It shows you are a woman.

It also say some where in Leviticus that you can sell you daughters into slavery, not to touch anything from a pig, and you can buy slaves from neighboring countries. That was just a way for men to dominate women and to say they were unworthy. It's old testament, outdated. Jesus didn't say anything about a woman being unclean in the new testament.

I suggest you just go back to being an unbeliever!
It's this type of old shite that gets the theists a well-deserved bad name!

I'd keep quiet about the dog if I were you. Most places that sort of thing is illegal!
